２００９年７月２２日トカラ皆既日食。宇宙から見た地球にもはっきり月の影が捉えられていました。月の影がはっきりと地球上を移動していくのが分かります。日本の経度の赤道上に静止する気象衛星ひまわりが撮影したその日、皆既日食の日の気象衛星画像です。画像の最初と最後に左右の端に見える暗がりは地球の夜の部分です。ブログ： http://powermacq.blog17.fc2.com/blog-entry-30.html July 22, 2009, the Day of Tokara Total Eclipse, Shadow of the Moon fell on the Earth. 森美術館での講演：「アートと知的財産権：クリエイティブ・コモンズの新たな役割」日時：2009年5月1日（金）19:00-21:00 出演：ローレンス・レッシグ（スタンフォード大学教授）高度情報化時代を迎え、インターネットの活用方法もより能動的になり、また専門家・アマチュアを問わずに表現活動ができるようになりました。そのなかで、知的財産権は保護・強化され、著作権法も表現活動を制限してきました。この問題は作品の画像データを頻繁に活用する美術界でも重要な問題です。クリエイティブ・コモンズは、この情報の流通や知的財産の発展と支援を目指し、著作権を保持しながら一定程度の自由な利用を表示する著作権の新しい考え方を提唱した非営利団体です（2001年設立）。本講演ではクリエイティブ・コモンズの発起人のひとり、ローレンス・レッシグ氏が、クリエイティブ・コモンズの概念とその発展、そして今後の可能性について語ります。ローレンス・レッシグイエール大学にて法学博士号を取得。最高裁判所の書記ののち、シカゴ大学、ハーバード大学を経て現在はスタンフォード大学にて憲法、契約、サイバー法の教鞭をとる。主な著書に『CODE―インターネットの合法・違法・プライバシー』（1999年）、『コモンズ―ネット上の所有権強化は技術革新を殺す』（2001年）など。 Mori Art Museum Lecture "Art and intellectual property rights: New role of Creative Commons" Date: 19:00-21:00 Friday, 1 May 2009 Lecturer: Lawrence Lessig (Professor, Stanford Law School) The arrival of the information age and the potential to share vast amounts of data have prompted some to call for a reconsideration of the concepts of intellectual property and copyright law. This is a field that is of obvious importance to the visual arts. Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization (established in 2001) that aims to develop and support the circulation of information and intellectual property by providing a flexible range of protections and freedoms. Lawrence Lessig, a founding board member of Creative Commons, discusses the progress of Creative Commons to date and what lies ahead for it in the future. Lawrence Lessig Earned a JD from Yale University. Clerked for a U.S. Supreme Court Judge. Teaches and writes in the areas of constitutional law, contracts, and the law of cyberspace. Prior to joining the Stanford faculty, he was at Harvard Law School and at the University of Chicago. He is the author of numerous books including "Code" (1999) and "The Future of Ideas" (2001).
